In most cases, the process for silencing the beeping is quite simple. Go to your device, and get your fingers jammed on the keyboard.

Alright, now look for the OFF button on the keyboard. Have you found it? If not, no worries. Some keyboards don’t have the OFF button. If that’s your case, don’t worry. Instead, look for the # button and press it (it should get the job done).

If this doesn’t work, then you’ll have to do a bit more work. Go grab your user’s manual and find out how you can stop the beeping. You’ll find your solution there.

Meanwhile, to make the beeping less annoying you can turn down the sound a little by reducing the volume through the keyboard on your ADT system.
