Can I Wear My Fitbit In The Shower?

Hot water, shampoo, soap, and conditioner exposure can damage the internal circuits of your Fitbit device, and it might be irreversibly damaged. Fitbits are water-resistant, not waterproof. Although they tolerate all the sweat, you should not wear them in showers.
Doing so will cause long-term damage to your device. Plus, you may feel skin irritation while showering. Fitbit also recommends not to wear their devices in hot tubs and saunas. The temperature can damage their internal components.

Doing so might severely damage the device. Since it is not 100% waterproof, going under the shower might leak water inside the device and damage its components. Besides heat, soap, shampoo, etc., exposure will also ruin your Fitbit Blaze.
Can I Wear My Fitbit Charge 2 In The Shower?
I’m sure you already know that Fitbit Charge 2 is water-resistant. So, it can resist rainwater, water splashes, and sweat. But it’s not designed to withstand shower water. That’s why Fitbit recommends not to wear it while bathing in a shower.

That’s why you can wear it while taking a shower. Hot temperature and soap or shampoo can’t damage the device. Not to mention its superior capability of resisting splashes, heavy sweats, and rains.
