Yes. You can manually add steps to your Fitbit if you forget to wear this fitness tracker while walking, running, or doing other exercises. You can add ‘steps’ from the Fitbit app or website dashboard. And it’s possible on both Android and iOS. 

How Do I Add Steps To My Fitbit App? 

Here are the step-by-step process of adding steps to the Fitbit app. 

  1. Open the Fitbit app from your phone. It can be iPhone or android phones.

  1. Now, sign in to your Fitbit account if you haven’t already.

  1. Look at the menu at the bottom of your screen. You will see the ‘Today’ tab. Click on it.

  1. Then select the ‘+’ icon beside Track your exercise option.

  1. Tap on the ‘Log’ button. You will find it at the top right of your screen.

  1. Now type ‘walking’ or ‘running’ or any other exercise related to steps.

  1. After selecting your exercise, select the start time and duration of your activity.

  1. Add the number of calories you burnt as well as your speed, pace, and distance. 
  2. Finally, click on the ‘Add’ button from the top right of your screen. Your steps are now added to your Fitbit.

  1. Log in to your Fitbit account.

  1. Click the ‘Log’ button from the top middle of your screen.

  1. Tap on the ‘Activities’ button.

  1. Finally, click the ‘Activity Record’ button, enter your data, and tap the ‘Log’ button. Now your steps are manually added to your Fitbit.
