We saw most Fitbit users paid attention to the possibilities of receiving and rejecting calls on Fitbit Charge versions 2, 3, 4 & 5.
We found some interesting facts and information you would like to share them.
You must first know that you can’t answer calls using the Fitbit Charge 2,3 and 4 versions.
But you will receive notifications when you receive calls and messages. The caller’s name will display when you get a call.
You can answer/reject calls on Fitbit charge 5
The Fitbit Charge 5 is the best version in the series as it allows you to answer calls or reject them.
But we discovered that you couldn’t keep a conversation going on that version either.
The call rejection was the best benefit of Fitbit charge 05. You may easily reject a call you don’t want with this option.
For example, you may leave a spam call without even reaching the phone in your pocket.
Although you answered the call you got, you may not be able to keep a conversation as your Fitbit charge 5 doesn’t have a microphone or a speaker.
But, it is still beneficial as you can save a couple or more seconds from the next call. You will be able to avoid missing an important call while you are searching for the phone.
How to receive call notifications for my Android / Apple device?
Fitbit doesn’t have the capability of answering or rejecting calls. You will get a notification on your phone displaying the caller’s name.
You will get two vibrations to indicate you have a new notification.
If you move your hand while feeling two vibrations phone will then display the caller’s name or number. You will see a name if you have saved the caller’s name on your smartphone.
Note: We saw that the call notification vanishes after a few seconds. Also, you will not be able to see any history of the calls you received from the charging menu. Therefore, you can’t depend on this notification method if you are a phone user who gets several calls.
