I have an Echo Show at home and I’ve had some trouble with it connecting to Wi-Fi in the past. Here are a few things that I’ve tried that have worked for me:
Restarting my Echo Show.
This is the simplest thing to try, but it often works. Just unplug the Echo Show from the power outlet, wait for a few seconds, and then plug it back in.
Moving my Echo Show closer to my router.
Echo Shows need to be within 30 feet of your router to connect to Wi-Fi. If your Echo Show is too far away, move it closer and try connecting again.
Checking my Wi-Fi password.
Make sure that you’re entering the correct Wi-Fi password when you try to connect your Echo Show to your Wi-Fi network. If you’re not sure what your Wi-Fi password is, contact your internet service provider.
Restarting my router.
If you’ve tried all of the above and your Echo Show is still not connecting to Wi-Fi, try restarting your router. This can sometimes fix problems with your Wi-Fi network.
Resetting my Echo Show.
If you’ve tried all of the above and your Echo Show is still not connecting to Wi-Fi, you can try resetting it. This will erase all of your settings, so be sure to back up anything important before you do it.
If you’ve tried all of the above and your Echo Show is still not connecting to Wi-Fi, you may need to contact Amazon customer service for help.
