What do you need?

• You must install the Eufy Security app from the internet. You can find the app either from the Apple app store or the play store. 

• Internet modem that is ready to provide the network for the Eufy HomeBase and a connection to plug. 

Note: You can later connect with the WiFi connection. But, when setting up the Eufy HomeBase, you must connect it to an Ethernet connection using a cable. 

How can I connect the Eufy doorbell to HomeBase 2? step by step

The process consists of two main parts, setting up Eufy HomeBase 2 to the Eufy app and adding the Eufy doorbell to the Eufy app. 

Adding Eufy HomeBase 2 to the Eufy app

• First, you must connect the Eufy HomeBase to the power. You must use the AC power adapter for that. Also, you must provide from 100V to 240V  for the HomeBase 2. 

• Next, you must connect the HomeBase 2 to the Ethernet cable. Also, the Ethernet cable must have been connected to the modem, which is properly providing internet access. 

• You must wait about a minute until you see the notification bulb turns Blue. Also, you will be notified by a voice when you are ready. 

Note: You will find the plugs at the back of the HomeBase 2. 

• As the next step, you must turn on the Eufy App and proceed with the setting up. At the end of signing up, you will see “Add Device.” 

• You will have to scan the QR code located at the bottom of the Eufy HomeBase 2. After successfully scanning, HomeBase 2 will shout, “HomeBase receives a pairing request.” 

• You must press the sync button, which is located on the back of the HomeBase 2 device. If you do it correctly, you will hear a beeping noise, and then HomeBase 2 will confirm it with words. 

• The system will reboot, and you may disconnect the Ethernet cable. The rebooting will take about 05 minutes to complete. You must check the Eufy Security app for completion. 

• Caution: you must not disconnect the Ethernet cable until HomeBase 2 verifies it through the smartphone interface of the Eufy Security app.  

Adding the Wireless Eufy Doorbell to the Eufy app

• You must open the Eufy security app and go to “Add device.” You will have to scan a QR code just like you did previously. You will find the QR code at the bottom of the Eufy doorbell as well. 

• You will be asked to hold the Sync button for two seconds to complete the synchronization. As soon as it is complete, you will hear a beep.

• Now you have successfully connected the Eufy doorbell to HomeBase 2. After you add the Eufy Doorbell to the Eufy app, you will be notified by the Eufy HomeBase 2.
