How to connect Wipro smart bulb to google home – Step by Step
In these steps, you will install Wipro mobile app into your mobile, and through it, you will connect the device into google assistant app. Once, this is finished, you can control your smart bulb through google home device.
Step 01: First, you need to install the device app into your mobile device. In this case, it is ‘Wipro Next Smart Home’. You can find it in both google play store and Apple app store.
Step 02: Once you have installed it, you can open the app and proceed. During this process, the app will ask you to register an account with them and accept their agreement. Proceed with the instructions. App may further ask mobile verification too.
Step 03: Then you need to insert your smart bulb into a power socket and turn on the power. After that, log into the app and click the options which say ‘Add device’. Then choose ‘Lighting Devices’.
Step 04: At this stage, your smart bulb should start to blink automatically. If it isn’t blinking, then you need to turn on/off your smart bulb power for at least 3 times. This process will trigger the app and bulb to initiate their connection correctly.
Step 05: If everything works up to now, go to the next step using the option in the app. During the process, it will ask the Wi-Fi password to finalize the setup. Now, you can control your wipro bulb through their generic app.
Step 06 (connecting to Google Home): The steps beyond this level is for only Google home controller. If you are using Amazon Alexa, you need to search the device in Alexa app as usual way.
Okay, now we need to install Google Home app in your mobile. If you already have it, then you can proceed to the next step. If not, You can install it from the play store or apple store.
Step 07: Open your Google home. In it’s main menu, click the option named ‘Add device’. Then select the option called ‘Set up device’. After that, you need to select the option called ‘works with google’. This step will allow you to search installed apps on your mobile. Search and click the ‘Wipro Next Smart Home’ app.
Step 08: A web page will be open to link your Wipro account with the google account. Enter proper credentials and link your account.
Step 09: Once steps been finished, go back to your google home app. In its main dashboard, you will see your Wipro smart been listed properly.
Step 10: Now, you can use your google assistant to control your Wipro smart light with your voice. You can turn it on/off or change its brightness level without any problem.

How do I connect my Wipro bulb to my phone?
To pair your Wipro bulb with your smartphone, follow these steps using the Wipro Next Smart Home app:
- Download the Wipro Next Smart Home app from Google Play or the App Store.
- Create and register your account.
- Enable Bluetooth and location services on your smartphone.
- Power on the Wipro bulb and wait for it to blink. If it doesn’t blink, toggle the light switch on and off seven times to reset.
- Launch the app and click the ‘+’ icon to add a new device.
- Choose ‘Lighting Devices’.
- Click ‘Next Step’ once the bulb blinks.
- Wait for the confirmation message indicating successful pairing.
