The reason is we were messing with you but for a good reason. To grab your attention. Because let’s face it, you can’t understand anything properly without giving a good amount of attention at the very least. Alright, now that we’ve got your attention, let’s get into the step-by-step process.

In total, there are three methods for changing your time on Fitbit (without a app) Charge 2. We’re going to share all of them so rest assured that your problem will be solved.

You should follow the methods in the exact order as we’ve mentioned them. The first method, then the second, and then the third. The reason is we’ve organized the methods based on the common cause.

The first method is most likely to solve your problem and the second method is more likely than the third method. Therefore, you’re more likely to save your time if you follow them in the exact order.

You may try the first two methods without any success, but don’t worry.

Because that means the third one will solve your problem, so your problem will be solved sooner or later.

Alright, now that we’re on the same page. Let’s get started.

Method 1

Step 1: Open the Fitbit app. We bet you know how to do that so we’re not going to get into details about it.

Step 2: Go to the option called Personal Info. Don’t see this option on your screen, no worries, because you are not supposed to. So how do you go to this option, if you don’t even see it? Pretty simple, by reading the next paragraph,

After you’ve opened the Fitbit app, you’ll be on the dashboard. Now on the dashboard, look for a gear icon with the word Settings right before it. Have you found the icon? Awesome. Now you’ll be able to see the option called Personal Info.

It should be the third one from the top, but it could be on any other position so if you don’t find it at the third position from the top, don’t worry and keep looking. You’ll find it within a few seconds.

Step 3: There will be plenty of options in this section. You must carefully navigate your way to the option called Clock Display Time. A hint: It should be under the option called Advanced Settings.

If it’s not located under the Advanced Settings, we advise to still find it and click/tap on it if you want to change your time.

Step 4: Now you’ll be able to find the option called 12 or 24 hour clock. Click on it. You’ll be shown two options on the screen.

12 hour clock and 24 hour clock. Now think and decide in which unit you want the time to be. If you want a 12 hour clock unit, then select it. If you want a 24 hour clock unit, then select that.

Step 5: You’ll see the Submit button at the bottom. Click on it to submit the option that you’ve chosen. Now, sync the data.

Method 2

Link for second video:

This one is a pretty simple and straightforward process. It won’t take much time and the instructions are pretty easy to follow. So, let’s talk about the step-by-step process.

Step 1: Go to the Fitbit app on your phone. Once you’re at the dashboard here is what you’ve got to do. Click on the Account icon at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Now, you’ve got to find the option called Settings. If you’re lucky like most people, as soon as you enter this section the Settings option will be right in front of your eyes.

But, you might not be as lucky as the majority. What we mean is when you enter this section, you may not see the option called Settings instantly.

If that’s the case, here is what you’ve got to do. FIrst, you’ve got to make sure that you don’t panic. As you’ve probably guessed, we’re joking with you and all you’ve got to do is scroll down a little and you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Step 3:  When you’re in the Settings section, you’ve got to go deeper. You have to find the option called Advanced Settings. Once you’ve found it, you know what to do.

Step 4: Over here you’ll see an option called Sync your tracker. Don’t click on it yet. Because there is something you’ve got to do first.

What is that thing? Is it complicated? Not at all. It’s actually quite simple and won’t take any longer than a few seconds.

Alright, so go back to your dashboard. Once you’re at the dashboard, tap/click on the Account tap and then your tracker name.

Step 5: Now go back to the Advanced Settings and click on the Sync option. That’s it, the process is completed.

Method 3

This one involves 7 steps and they are quite simple and easy to follow. Here are the steps:

Step 1: First thing you’ve got to do is open your Fitbit app and log out.

Step 2: Now you’ve got to close the app. If it’s not closing, force it.

Step 3: Restart your Fitbit Charge 2 device.

Step 4: Once the device is restarted, turn the bluetooth connection off in your phone.

Step 5: Now turn off your phone and let it stay off for 2 minutes at least.

Step 6: Once you’ve turned the phone back on, turn on the bluetooth as well.

Step 7: Now, log back into your Fitbit app.

By following these steps your problem is guaranteed to be solved. In case any point is not clear, let us know in the comments section and we’d clear it up for you.
