Fitbit trackers are incredible because they show stats and send notifications to your smartphone.

But all that is possible only when your Fitbit device is properly synced.

This article will show you how to sync your old Fitbit to your iPhone and receive notifications.

How Do I Sync My Old Fitbit To My iPhone?

Many people cannot sync old Fitbit to their new iPhone, but you can do that with a few simple steps.

To use your old Fitbit device on your new iPhone, you have to sync the device on your Fitbit app.

Follow these simple step-by-step processes to sync an old Fitbit tracker to your iPhone and enable notifications.

Step 1: Enable Bluetooth

The process starts with turning your Bluetooth on. Go to your iPhone settings, select Bluetooth, and turn it on by sliding the toggle.

Step 2: Remove Your Fitbit Device

Now, look at the list of paired devices. If you find your Fitbit device there, click on it and select Forget Device. It will remove your Fitbit device from your Bluetooth paired device lists.

Step 3: Set Up A New Device

It’s time to go to your Fitbit app from your iPhone and create a new device. To do that, you have to click on the Account symbol from the top right corner of your screen and hit the ‘Set up a New Device’ option.

Select your tracker from the list and follow the onscreen instructions. Your Fitbit device will be listed on your app.

Step 4:  Connect With Bluetooth

Now go to your Bluetooth settings again and connect the device. Select your Fitbit tracker from the available device list, and a pop-up notification will appear asking for confirmation. Give your consent, and your Fitbit will be connected to your iPhone.

Step 5: Sync The Tracker

Now it’s time to sync your Fitbit device with our iPhone. Generally, the Fitbit device will be synced with your iPhone in the app.

If not, go to the Fitbit app on your iPhone and select Account from the tab bar. Then choose your Fitbit device.

Then scroll down to the All-Day Sync option. If it’s not on by default, swipe the toggle to enable it.

You can manually sync your Fitbit tracker by tapping on the Sync Now option. Finally, your old Fitbit is synced with your iPhone.

Step 6: Enable Smart Notification

This is a bonus part, as I promised. Some Fitbit can send smart notifications to your smartphone, and you can see that right on your iPhone display.

To select which notification you want to receive, go to your Fitbit app and select Account from the tab bar.

Then scroll down and select the Notification button. It will show you a list of notification options.

Slide the toggles of those notifications you want to receive on your iPhone. To complete your selection, go back to the Account page and click on Sync Now.

Final Thoughts

The entire syncing process is a piece of cake. By syncing your Fitbit device with your iPhone, you can monitor your performance and get suggestions on activities on your phone
